    58,535 Season Tickets Sold

Not bad. Down about 1500 from last seasons all-time high.

    Go Bills.

What's the stadium currently hold? I remember the old 80,200 or whatever it was when it was Rich Stadium. I thought they lost some seats, IIRC, at one redo of the stadium.

Good deal. Don't have to cover seats with tarps in Buffalo.

Don't have to improve the middling mediocre team of the past 16 years when you sell tickets like that.

Yes because they've intentionally tried not to improve the team.

Nah, they just take appearance over quality. Under Ralph, they consistently had one of the lowest paid coaching staffs in the league and routinely went into the season well under the salary cap. They'd occasionally pay a dude like Mario Williams or sign a name like TO to get fan interest up without actually spending to improve the team. Under Pegula, paying isn't a problem but they still value attention and the bottom dollar over quality. Exhibit A: Rex Ryan. Decisions are made with marketing and the bottom dollar coming first and winning coming second.

That's going to be a lot of disappointed dupes. To be fair if I am wrong, I will gladly eat a quadruple helping of crow.

I would tend to think at the time and under the circumstances (new owner with deep pockets, best dline in the league and top 4 defense already in place, only a QB and one or two olinemen away from the playoffs) we could have had our pick of the litter.

Best dline in the league? Top 4 defense?

Well, whose fault is that? The FO's. Top coaches know they can't win in a place where winning is secondary to the bottom line. Under Ralph, they went cheap. Under Pegula, they went for the most marketable. Healthy books will always be valued over winning as long as Brandon has a say.

Please. The reason the Bills have struggled is because of the quarterback position and nothing else. As for going for the most marketable guy in Rex, it was either go with an unproven coordinator versus a guy like Rex who had actually taken his team to the AFC championship game twice early in his career. But regardless whether it's Ralph or the Pegulas, no top coach will be come to Buffalo.

    What?

Nothing else? Stinking OL season after season. Drafting RBs and dumping good RBs on the squad several times. Zany draft day trades. Loseman, Maybin, McCargo. Years of lilliputian LBs. Spent the farm on OL bums like Walker and Dockery. Forked over a kings' ransom to Mario Williams. Keeping two kickers on the roster. Canning Wade Phillips. Canning Bruce Ariens.

    That's the short list.
