Bills trade for Lerentee McCray

According to several guys I follow on twitter (all from the media) we just acquired that guy from the Packers for a pick. He's a linebacker


All I've found on him is that he's mostly a special teams player. He was in Denver last year and played only on 10% of defensive snaps.

Why would we trade for a special teamer?

Maybe because the guy that we previously acquired to play special teams is now our starter.

Or because the team has gotten advance word on Lawson.

I like to think I follow football and know a decent amount of this. I have never heard of this man. You even explained who he was and I still half expect he's the football version of Taro Tsujimoto.

His wiki page is updated to say that he was traded for a 2018 undisclosed pick. It better be a 7th rounder.
