    AND the third.

Thank Kane for taking a penalty that gives Edmonton a 3-2 lead.

I want Kane GONE. And I don't care WHAT we get in exchange. Maybe a bag of pucks.

While you're at it, ship Bylsma out the door too.

OK, MAYBE I don't want Kane gone.

Dude ties it up with less than 30 to go.

AND Buffalo gets a PP to boot.

    Need more competent goaltending.

Never thought I'd say this as long as I lived, but I miss Ryan Miller.

Miller took a lot of criticism because he'd let in the occasional softie but he also made some jaw-dropping saves. More importantly, there were games where he was just in the zone and he'd steal a win when everyone else had their heads up their asses. We don't have that ability anymore.

Nilsson gave up 3 goals on 37 shots. That's pretty competent

breakaway stop on mcdavid was a huge save. not a lot of goalies do that to him on a pure break. he was barely hounded by Risto. from December 16-31, we'll know what this team has. we are playing the teams ahead of us in the standings in the division. so if we can win straight, we can make up some serious ground. if we do these tie wins or losses, it's going to be really hard to be a playoff team without a miracle run accompanied by a few teams losing regularly. you hate to say that the season can be decided in December, but to me it is.

The season was more than likely decided the moment Eichel went down with a high ankle sprain.

but it isn't over. they are fighting. if they get solid goaltending with the 3+ goals a game at the same time, they could get some confidence. they haven't had that confidence break out yet. to me, I just need to see them make some ground, get healthy and in January February they'll need a 5-8 game winning streak. I don't disagree that they are fighting a tough battle due to the first half of the season, but they were a .500 team with 3-5 AHL's playing each night. it is what it is but they did the best you could have asked for.

They are playing better and notice how much better with Eichel. He drew a penalty with his speed last night and got an assist

Kane got off to a slow start last year too. But as a supplement player, he's good

He should be a 20/20 guy at minimum.

Whenever they talk about the 20/20 player I think of Jochen Hecht. He had a great two-way game too. THAT is a "supplement" player.
