All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Gutsy win in Nashville but I'm so tired of getting ****ed by the refs every time we go on the road against a southern team with a questionable fan base. Girgs took that elbow to the face, the knee on knee hit by Subban against Kane, and at least 3 more, then Nashville gets the go-ahead goal on a delay of game penalty that clearly went off the Preds' stick.
This just a couple of weeks after the refs gave TB a 5 on 3 do-over when the Sabres got an early lead in Bishop's return.

Oh and nice recovery by Eichel after a rough start.

We aren't beating just the bottom rung teams either, these are some good to great teams. Our goalies both have to have a softie goal and an world beating save while keeping the game close. You'd think 3-4 goals a game we be enough to win but we are learning how to win and play close, which as we all know comes with the territory in the playoffs (dare I say ?).

Looking at the standings, it's tough to see how the playoffs happen this year. It would be nice to see them go on enough of a run where they aren'r eliminated until late so they have to fight hard through the end of the season though

We're known for improving second half point totals, so there's a chance we fall into one of the last 2 spots. Nobody wants to play a team that can score 4-5 like that, hard to beat them.

I agree it's a team no one wants to play right now. The talent isn't quite there but it's vastly improved, and there is no quit in them. Teams like that are dangerous. I'm just saying they dug themselves into a hole early and I don't know if it's possible to dig out.
Let's go on the conservative side and say we need 90 points to get in the playoffs (it's probably more like 92 or 93 but I'll be a little optimistic here). We currently have 49 points with 35 games to play. That means we'd need 51 points in 35 games. It's not completely impossible but it sure as hell isn't likely and I don't think this team has the talent to pull it off.
