    I'll take that!

3 pts out with 24 games to play. Definitely do-able.

    Bogosian can GTFO anytime.

I would prefer they protect Falk to him in the expansion draft, based on contract and term

Good win, pretty solid throughout except for the hiccup on the shortie. Still giving up way too many shots and not getting enough. Nice to see them on a run.

The giving up shots won't change soon with the crew on defense

It's not just that... it's the system they are playing. Keep things on the outside and let them shoot.

Tired of people ****ting on Lehner- he's had a few stinkers but he's come through far more often than not.

STL seemed confused by Eichel every time he touched the puck. He didn't tally but he's showing flashes of being that dominant guy.

I'm one of those guys, but I have to say he's growing on me lately. How many 40+ shot games can any goaltender withstand? The problem more clearly is the defense.

I hope TM puts Ennis, Grigs, Bogosian and Franson (or some combination of them) into a package for a real d-man.

    Defense begins with the forwards...

we don't have enough team speed.

You said that already. I don't disagree at all.

We all remember guys like Peca & Drury getting back when they were supposed to.

Sabres should've beat the Blackhawks in the United Center back in Jan, they were up 3-2 with 2:05 Min left and couldn't lock it down the Sabres got a point when they should have had two.

its not as simple as back checking but along those lines.

Acrually one one of the best teams at doing it are the Penguins... their forwards track like ****ing crazy.

With every old guy we lose (Moulson, Gionta...) eventually, they're being replaced with much faster young guys like Bailey (and soon, Nylander). Hopefully this team looks a lot younger and faster next year.

If they beat the Blackhawks, I may actually be interested in the rest of this season.

Coach is doing it again. Playing Lehner in back-to-backs after he faced a lot of shots the night before.

That could be a break for the Sabres: Crawford is 8-0 against Buffalo with 1.86/.929 figures.

Darling has helped the Hawks survive back-to-backs very well: They're 7-2-1 in the second contest of those sets. Buffalo is 4-5-1 in game two. This is the Sabres' 11th of a league-high 19 back-to-backs this season.
