I say just shut the guy down for the year. Julio had the same issue as him and needed three surgeries to get it fully corrected.

Just sit him all year. Jesus this is disappointing.
This is why you don't spend two first and a fourth on a wide receiver.
It's that whole "putting all your eggs in the same basket" thing.
It may be, under very rare circumstances, worth it to spend like that on a potential franchise QB. The upside is much greater. But the risk/reward scenario on a WR is just not a smart play.
GM malpractice.

What are we, doctors now?
Why bring up Julio Jones? The Falcons put him on IR the same week he injured his foot. Sammy had his surgery FIVE months ago. Big difference.
Dunno what happened when Sammy's foot was stepped on or why anyone would think to put him on IR at this point...

How are we going to find someone to replace his 4.2 catches per game?!
Mace (09-30-2016)
He has a metal screw in his foot, until the fusion has completely taken place it cannot come out. Putting him on IR will allow him the rest and rehab to properly heal and hopefully not have any other issues. In regards to what we gave up for him, we all know why are we constantly bringing this up.
Should've been put on the PUP list, never should've played Thursday night.
The guy is the biggest bust in franchise history

You mean this Matt Ryan?

Mike Evans
Odell
Brandin Cooks
Allen Robinson
Jarvis Landry
There's more, but I'll stop there. All of which could've been had instead of Watkins. The Bills could've stayed at 9 and picked all but Evans.

The guy just recently turned 23, and he has more reception yardage than any other Bills receiver through his first two years. Dunno what else...all this with Kyle Orton, EJ Manuel, and Tyrod Taylor throwing him the ball...Tyrod, who can't seem to throw to the middle of the field too much so far.
Calling him a bust at all at this point IS moronic, let alone calling him the biggest bust in Bills history. If anyone were to eat a dick, it's not our good friend Mr. Mayagi. See what I'm sayin', Corn-pone?

What they gave up for Sammy shouldn't have anything to do with how you evaluate him as a player. He's not personally responsible for the trade-up. He's good, and could be great.
And, by the way, every single one of the players that you mentioned are on teams that have had a worse record than the Bills since the 2014 draft. It should all translate into wins, shouldn't it?
