for those of you in fantasy leagues, good chance to pounce on robert woods in ppr formats. maybe even standard. great opportunity for volume if you need depth. say a fourth or fifth wr to replace some bum on your roster.

It's not season ending IR, but the earliest he can return is Nov. 27th against the Jags. So he could still end up playing in the last 6 games if his foot gets better.
btw the problem with sammy is injuries, it’s not a lack of talent. imagine how good he’d be if he had eli or jameis throwing him the rock a dozen times a game and of course he could stay healthy.
at some point this medical staff needs to be re-evaluated. I didn't read other comments in thread, but this is ridiculous. the foot injury rehab is well known. why they pushed him like this is insanity. there are enough mistakes that a serious reevaluation of the medical staff is in order.
Haven't missed much. Sammy is a bust, he's made of glass and you're just making excuses. Ronnie Lott would have had his foot cut off on the sidelines and still gotten hall of fame numbers if the same thing happened to him. Any of the receivers in the same draft would have had double the numbers that Sammy had. The team doesn't trust in him or have any faith in him. Etc, etc, etc
I wonder who it was that first said Sammy is a bigger bust than Maybin?
Two 1st and 4th.
All the great WRs picked after him.
Injury prone.
BUST
I guess I wonder about the bolded parts. Oh well :
http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2016...ng-camp-begins"Watkins played some pickup basketball at LA Fitness but didn't do much jumping or crashing the boards," reports Matthew Fairburn of Syracuse.com. "Afterward, he said his foot feels great. His X-rays this week came back clean, and the broken foot he had surgery on this spring has healed."
He’s been running in a straight line but is still not doing stressful activities that might aggravate the injury. He doesn’t expect to do much during training camp as they are taking a very careful approach.
Since someone brought up Kyle Orton for part of Sammy's troubles...
Here's how he targeted Brandon Marshall.
2009 - 154 times in 15 games
The next season Marshall was gone, so Brandon Lloyd stepped up with the targets, 153 times.
Even in 2005 when Orton only threw 368 passes, 136 of them went to Muhsin Muhammad.
But yeah, it's just the QBs who have held Sammy back, nothing to do with him.

OMG F u ck shi ty What the hell .. Sammy is always hurt hurt hurt hurt . WHO the Fu ck idea to trade with 1st round and Bills get Sammy. For God sake. I hope next year draft 2017 without Doug W. and get best WR and put Sammy sit the bench for 3 year .. I am sick of tire Sammy always hurt . Sammy is biggest wimp pu ssy
In all fairness, there was a lot of outrage over the trade, the day of the draft. I don't think many knew he was going to turn into the bust he is, but, most didn't think he was worth what the Bills traded for him. The other blunder here, was trading up to 4 and passing on Mack. Who the he'll did the Bills have scouting the kid next door?

What is laughable is this idiotic notion that he is a bust. Someone needs to define to me what a bust is anymore. Do people who are drafted as high as he was have to be mentioned with the greatest players of all time or be considered a bust?
What I remember most about the trade was the fact that for the first time in recent memory, the Bills made a bold move. There was some concern at how much was given up, but not a lot. It was only AFTER the season where he wasn't utilized a lot that the trade was panned.
Bust...Bust...Bust.
