Good news for Albany Bills fans on 10/30

    From today's Times Union:

Sanity has prevailed at CBS, which has assigned the Patriots-Bills game in NFL Week 8 to local affiliate WRGB (Ch. 6) after originally designating Jets-Browns for the 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, window. No matter which regional team WRGB shows, a faction of the local fan base will feel alienated, but replacing a game whose teams are a combined 1-11 with a matchup that will determine the AFC East leader seems like a no-brainer.

Awesome. Why CBS ever thought even Jets fans would want to watch that game is beyond me. The only people watching that will be the moms, wives and girlfriends of the participants.

We really don't get much Bills broadcast action in the capital region. Unfortunately this weekend it's back to the bar, as CBS is showing Baltimore/NYJ.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Good for the local Bills fans that will not be at the game. Also good for taping
