The CFL crossover rule has come into effect nine out of 21 seasons (43 per cent of the time) since its inception in 1996.

Only three times in 11 matchups (27 per cent) has the crossover team won the football game.

Zero times (zero per cent) has a team crossing over made it all the way to the Grey Cup.

The Edmonton Eskimos are the ninth team to make the playoffs via the crossover and will play in the Western Final on Sunday against the Ottawa REDBLACKS. A loss and they’ll just be another statistic; a win and they’ll make history:More...

Does the rule allow NFL teams to cross over to the CFL playoffs? I hope so because it's the only way the Bills are making the postseason.
