All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
LOL...This guy sticks around here no matter what...Doesn't even matter though cause the season's been done, but man, Kelsay's got nothing on him.

"Coach Levy is one of the most inspirational people that I have ever known."
***Thurman Thomas.***
"You're not going to find a more classier, down-to-Earth person away from the field than Marv Levy. He's a guy who's pretty much made me what I am today as far as a professional player and a person."
***Jim Kelly***
He's the 53rd guy on the roster and serves a purpose.
True, not like we don't need anything but a 53rd guy kickoff specialist that no other team in the league wants to sign for a position no other team in the league has. We're always a step ahead and need us some of that sweet Jordan Gay locker room leadership.
Ironic that this happens the week after Dan Carpenter won Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
How many times have they cut and re-signed this Gay chump? Really something to behold...and also hard to believe.
Probably did it because the Bills have 5 out of their next 6 games in New York State...OK, the Jets game is really in New Jersey. But the weather is probably going be bad down the stretch, and Carpenter doesn't seem to be a "kick-off specialist" himself. Kick-off specialists are so so hard to come by, that pretty much no one else has one...only thing I can think of.

But the Bills probably think that they can drop him and then pick him up again at their leisure...and they would not be wrong. Doesn't seem like Gay has any pressing prospects to be an actual kicker of field-goals, extra points, and kicker-related things of this nature. Just the old kick-off specialist, which is not in high demand, I'd say.
But this madness has to stop sooner or later, or so you would think. Then again, I've seen madness of all sorts continue for who knows how long, with no end in sight...
Probably about the only 'name' they could come up with at such short notice.
The timing does seem as though it's about right for when the weather gets nastier, so there's at least some rationale for it, bearing in mind the fact that the Bills like the idea of having the longer leg for kickoffs. It might also be that they are thinking about having to make a long kick to tie or win a game, so it does give them another option if needed.
