    Vikings DB's defy Zimmer

Never heard of anything like this ever happening before. For a whole half the DB's ignored Zimmer and decided their own coverage. It did not go well.

    Ouch.

Somebody needs to go in Minnesota...Zimmer, or some dbacks.

Zimmer is a great guy. Were I the owner, I'd can the DBs, and not pay them, let them sue. The general rule in union contracts is that if the work to be performed is safe, and the pay rate is correct for the job, unionized workers are obligated to follow the directives of management.

Latest is that it was longtime ally CB Newman, and Rhodes was pressured to go along with it. Zimmer's strategy actually worked fine.

Newman is like Zimmer's Jim Leonhard though, hard to believe he didn't know Zimmer's intentions from the meetings.

Not real sure why Zimmer would be looked at as an issue, they lost Bridgewater and made something of Bradford at QB, they've got the 2nd ranked defense.

I think Newman is gone after this year.
