Nobody in their right mind would ever sign with a CFL team if he had a shot of playing in the NFL. Players go to the minor league CFL after they get cut by the NFL, not before. When Edleman gets to be around 40 and still wants to play QB, he can go to the CFL then-he'll probably be league MVP.
