Shady throws temper tantrum after being left off 'Top 101' list

The folks at Pro Football Focus have angered one LeSean McCoy, who was not included in their Top 101 players from the 2016 NFL season list.

McCoy (who believes he is the best running back in the league) responded to this snub with a bit of shady stone-throwing.

To be fair, if this scribe were compiling a list of the NFL’s top 101 players, McCoy would have landed on it at some point. He had a tremendous season for the Buffalo Bills, rushing for 1,267 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding another 356 yards and a touchdown on 50 receptions.

How the hell are guys like Aaron and Rodgers and Matt Ryan unranked in '15? Ryan, maybe...but Aaron Rodgers?

They give an awful lot of love to olinemen and dlinemen, though, and especially 'edge rushers' (50 of the full 101).

To be fair, he did give reasons for leaving McCoy off the list. He said McCoy was the worst is pass protection out of all RB in the NFL. I'm not sure I agree with his logic, but at least he gave a reason (actually, he would be on my list, likely in the middle somewhere).

They ranked Shady the #6 RB in the NFL this year.

Yes, but how much weight did they give his pass pro considering the amount of times he was asked to do it v. other backs. This is part of the problem with these new analytics, they aren't always properly calibrated to consider items like that. They just get an overall grade whether they do it once or 100 times.

We all know Shady isn't great in pass pro which is why he's rarely asked to do it. If is the explanation for why he was held out then it's a ****ty explanation.
