EJ worked, studied, and put forth the effort. But EJ was awful.

He's not going to make the team, or won't last past October if he makes it to September. The Raiders recent history is signing ex-Bills QBs who were starters in Buffalo & letting them go soon after. See JP Losman and Trent Edwards. Even Rob Johnson spent some time in a Raiders uniform.

Why the hate? He's a decent person, never bad mouthed us. It wasn't his fault that he was drafted so high. Had he been a 4th rounder there wouldn't have been the pressure to be better than he was capable of.

To his credit, he did play passably well subbing for Brad Johnson twice during their Superbowl run.

Won both his starts.

Don't mean he's any good but he did contribute on a marginal level that year.
