    Solid pick actually, you nutcases.

Now we have an extra pick in the third, and a 1st rounder next year in the process.

At the end of the day White is the "safe" CB pick. Four year starter at LSU. Can do everything well but doesn't excel at any one thing. Probably not a lock down CB but he's a good outside guy who can play inside and disguise the coverage scheme well.

4 year starter at DBU, and a good kid, still could have had Foster or Ramczyk.

Greg Cosell, Matt Bowen, PFF, and many more have nothing but good to say about him. He's just not a top end athlete, he's a good/solid player, just worried about him getting smoked by the big boys.

why so he can leave in FA and we spend yet another 1st round pick on a corner instead of paying the one we drafted?

The impression I get is that he is quick and excellent in coverage---maybe designed to cover Patriots smurfs? Also a good returner as mentioned.

The problem with the pick is according to the so called experts this draft is so deep at corner you can get a starter in the 4th round.

Solid pick. Not flashy, not a home run, but a good player. He satisfies my 1st requirement by the Bills for 1st round picks "DON'T DRAFT BUSTS". You might say "that's a low bar Bill". To which I would say "if you think that, you obviously have not been paying attention to this franchise. So no champagne corks but I feel relieved, I'll take it

That sums it up pretty well. He has average measurables but a decent skill set. If Darby can have a bounce back year and Seymour can continue to develop, Buffalo should be OK at CB even though they're pretty young.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Unless all those starters go before the 4th round

Re: NFL Draft 1st Round Thread

I happened to check one "big board" (happened to be the Sporting News). They have White as their 16th best player, a higher ranking than Marlon Humphrey, Corey Davis, Christian McCaffery and Mike Williams.

Couldn't tell you if he did.

He's now the 7th DB taken with the top pick during this long playoff drought.

Or nearly half of the top picks.

I like White from his interview that he just did on Sirius.
