That's OK. Once he lost the them around 2012, it was time. Great runs in 06 and 07, and late 90s, gotta give him credit for that

I'm fine with the Bills and Sabres taking 1 step back to take 2-3 steps forward.

Both franchises have been doing it wrong for far too long. No immediate unrealistic expectations. Patience sucks but the new guys in charge didn't create this dreck.

Oh, come on. Ten years ago, the sabres were at least the gold standard of the league. Just never won the whole ****ing thing. 06 was bad luck. Nothing more

I was more referring to the Bills with that comment. But the Sabres of the past three years certainly has been some of the worst professional hockey I've ever witnessed.

Lot of confidence in Nylander. I dig it. Wouldn't mind seeing him start the season in Rochester and have to earn his spot, but if he earns it in preseason then obviously this take will age poorly.
