Good point, but circumstances are somewhat different. Dak Prescott did a lot of things well through the draft process, but there were questions about his ability to transition to a pro offense from a very unconventional college offense. That is a very common problem these days. Prescott also happened to go to a team with arguably the best offensive line in the league. They also, like Buffalo, have one of he best run games. That allowed Dallas to give him reasonably simple game plans. The big issue, though is the unpredictability of youngsters transitioning from college offenses that are so different from the pros. Peterman, on the other hand, came from an offense that is more like the pros than most. He slid in the draft more because of measurables than anything else. He lacks ideal size and doesn't have a great arm, though he's not terrible in either area.
