    That was true last year, and I'd argue that we will be better on the wings with the young guys having a year to improve and Pommers being healthy. And while the D is still weak, it's improved over last year.

    I agree they need help but I still say they can take a step forward over last year.

    I don't see the Sabres moving. First, Pegula didn't invest in Harborcenter and all the improvements to the arena just to pick up and move. Second, the Sabres get good support even when they aren't winning. There are plenty of markets that struggle to get support even when they are winning: Carolina, Florida, Arizona come immediately to mind (although Arizona is probably safe because they are trying to correct the east-west imbalance and moving a western team east is only going to make it worse).
