Wow. That's a lot of money for that player.
Considering Draisatl has already proven himself in the playoffs, it will be curious if he gets the same or higher.
I heard from a reporter 8 years 80 mil and his agent wants 90 mil.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

....tough to hear....
Paul Hamilton of WGR 550: Buffalo Sabres GM Jason Botterill this past week on ESPN 95.7 radio on Jack Eichel contract extension talks.
“It’s a new market with different contracts coming into play here and that’s where the discussions have seemed to go. It’s a scenario where both parties need to be comfortable with where the final number is going to be, but all of our discussions with Jack have been very positive.”
“The bottom line is we want to get him signed, he wants to be part of Buffalo moving forward. In all our interactions whether with myself or Phil Housley, Jack has been extremely excited about communicating with us.”
I'd be really excited about communicating with somebody that might be making me a multi-millionaire in the near future too.

Should the thread subject to be changed to who Eichel's next team is going to be?
Seymour Knox IV thinks that is a lot of money.
