THE SABRES ORGAN: This great hockey tradition will be back in a big way this upcoming season. The organist will be more of a focal point during stoppages at Sabres home games.

This is news?
I mean, I like the traditional stuff to a degree but not to the point where I would spend time complaining that we need more organ music.
I got more organ for ya...

Remember a few years ago when they changed the organ to make different tones and sounds and it just sounded horrible?
I'd also like to go back to the old goal horn sequence from the late 90s that includes several different sirens with the horn and RJs call off the goal delayed with it

**** the organ music. I'm asking for more games won.

The American Dream isn't an SUV and a house in the suburbs;
it's Don't Tread On Me.
Perhaps Sabres fans should then simply ask for a winner.
Many of the changes were driven by feedback from season ticket-holders and social media.
"We did a survey last season to really do a deep dive and find out some of the concerns, some of the things our fans want to see and want to have," said Mike Gilbert, Sabres senior vice president. "Sometimes we think we know what they want. It's no different than any business. ... When you actually talk to them and find out some of things that really matter to them, you learn. We took all that in and when you don't make the playoffs, you have that much more time to analyze and look at the data.
Two key areas of the game experience that will be augmented this year will be giveaway nights, which will take place on eight games to be announced, the return of the supersized fan flag moving through the seating area and more organ music as a focal point during stoppages.
"The fans were very vocal in that regard to those areas," Gilbert said.
