We just played 2 games that arguably are our easiest games on our 16-game schedule.

We softly massaged the lowly NY Jets to a non-impressive win.
We could not score against a no longer dominant Carolina Defence.

I am not so sure that the Carolina D is no longer dominant. But I agree with the rest of your post.
We should be 1-4 going into our Bye Week:
(a) We play a very impressive Denver team at home next Sunday = LOSS
(b) Then go to Atlanta who destroyed the Packers last night = LOSS
(c) Then go to Cinci to face a shaky Bengals team however no shakier than the Panthers who we lost to = LOSS
1-4 and the Bye Week is a logical time to switch to Peterman to see what we have in him and taking the season properly.

I wanna believe in 3 and 13 but I see too many wins. Jets, bengals, dolphins once and chargers. Luckily the NFC south is pretty stout as is the rest of the afc west other than LA

There is a BIG difference between tanking in the NHL for 2 & 1/2 years for lottery picks and then drafting a 18 year old you may not see on the NHL team for 2-3 years AND tanking in the NFL for a lost year (The Bills are NOT a play-off team) for a non-lottery draft pick of a 21 or 22 year old who would be expected to contribute immediately to the NFL team.
Do you understand that?

I will NEVER embrace a tank, by the Bills or any other team. It is unethical, unsportsmanlike, and just plain bad for the game.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Nothing rights a ship like a game against the Bills. Now as far as tanking... Seems odd to call it a tank with the #2 defense. Did the DC NOT get the memo?

Tanking implies that the Bills are deliberately losing games ....Bills are losing because they're just flat out bad
Teams don't deliberately tank in the NFL.
Got my first class ticket on the tank train!!! Let's do it and get the best possible draft we can hope for. And we had BETTER get a starter or significant contributor EVERY time we trade up.
