I'm not mad about this game

If Carolina goes on to win 12 or more games we will all look back on Sunday with resplendent thoughts.

There's nothing "resplendid" about missing an opportunity to score a road win against a quality opponent because we couldn't muster up a single touchdown.

I'm mad.

I knew we lacked talent on O but I didn't realize it was going to be this pathetic. Most of our starters don't belong on an NFL roster, but the back-ups are even worse. Throughout the 17-year playoff drought, we've had probably 7 years where the D was above average to great, and we've squandered it each time by putting up a laughingstock on offense. This is history repeating itself. I mean, it's not like we needed to score 40 to keep up with Tom Brady. We needed ONE touchdown to win. ONE. And even that was too much to ask.

Me too, this game was incredibly frustrating to watch. Why wouldn't you be mad? The Panthers tried to out-Buffalo the Bills, but we just wouldn't let them. This was the perfect game to symbolize the beginning of a new era with a new coach where we can win games that we might not deserve winning, but we fell flat on our faces. Same old same old.

I no longer get mad about any football game. I root for the Bills to win, I watch the games and even tape them (no longer watch them back). I even get nervous during the game, but after it's over, win or lose it has no emotional effect on me. I can remember getting literally sick after a bad loss, I think for years I would miss at least 1 Monday a month from work because of a Bills loss (or win) on Sunday. Honestly, it feels good to have it no longer affect me.

Exactly, did you read where I said I can remember, that means in the past (like 20 -25 years ago). Now a win or loss has zero emotional effect on how I feel after the game.

Uh... they didn't score one either. I don't think you, or anyone, would argue that Carolina was the better team going in to the game. No team wins every game (unless your the 1974 Dolphins). So sure there is. It's a young team that wasn't expected to win. Tey made it a lot closer than anyone guessed they would. We all thought they had problems on both sides of the ball. It appears they don't. Just one. So whining about this loss is nothing more than baseless whining.

The 1972 Super Bowl was one of the first games I watched all the way through. I was rooting for the Redskins. They had two players l liked: RB Larry Brown and LB Chris Hanburger. Plus they still had both Billy Kilmer & Sonny Jurgenson - which didn't help them in that game. That Dolphin team looked more unstoppable than any Patriot team.
