To early to say move Coyotes?

Quebec City is ready to take them but Little Man Gary wants more American teams even though the Canadian teams far financially outperform on average American teams.

So Gary will delay moving the Coyotes until Seattle is ready to take them on.

All in Gary's stupid single minded pursuit of a large American TV contract like the NBA's.

Hey Gary you little dweeb, there is only one sizable NHL TV contract and it is in Canada and your little ass had nothing to do with that.

You also can't have 17 teams in the east and 15 in the west.

It only took them like 40 years to get east. I'm sure they are dying to go back

They aren't, but that's the only option. The jackets can't because the NHL determined the team couldn't survive in the west financially.

    And that's just ****ing sad.

Not for Seattle, but for Quebec City.

Remind me again why the Nordiques left for Denver again....especially after they lost the Rockies?

The dollar was a big part of it for sure. If I remember correctly it was down at like 0.65 US on the CAD.

I was banned for calling Yardie a coward, by DB, in a tread about women’s issues happening right now in America. Nothing better than republican men silencing women’s voices, especially in the Buffalo Spin zone!!

Now it's rebounded to about 81 cents US.

Yep. And they have a gleaming(and relatively new)arena in the Videotron Centre.

IMO: Some team is going to land in there in the next 5-10 seasons. Maybe sooner than that. Book it.

If Tampa didn't have a decent fan base, I'd say the two Florida teams should combine and play at the Amway center. Panthers may be failing slowly, but the bolts are fine

They need to make the conferences even first

I agree; note, though, I didn't say WHICH team was going to move there.

Carolina & Florida are in the most trouble in the Eastern Conference. Adding Seattle as an expansion team does, however, seem to make your point(correct as it is)moot.

If Quebec gets a team, I guess it would be through relocation. Carolina is in deep ****. I guess that's why North Carolina was never karmonos first choice when he moved the whalers.

Were that the case, here's how I'd rearrange the Eastern Conference divisions....

Northeast(formerly Atlantic): Boston, Buffalo, Columbus, Detroit, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec & Toronto
Southeast(formerly Metropolitan): Florida, New Jersey, NY Islanders, NY Rangers, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay & Washington

Of course, this set up is so logical that the NHL will NEVER use it.
