Cordy Glenn and Marcell Dareus played very few snaps Sunday due to injuries. Combined they account for $30.5 mil against our salary cap. Glenn had a bad ankle last year, during the off-season, during camp & preseason. We all know the Dareus story.

Get me 6 good players with heart @ $ 5 mil each and we'll be winners!

The major concern has to be Glenn. As it seems historically, we don't do a good enough job of identifying longer term problems quick enough, and get them sorted asap.

Dareus got rolled up on early on, which is no fault of his, and he did actually return later. For all of his other faults, I don't think his desire needs to be questioned when he actually gets on a football field.

Inevitably there are a couple of guys on any team, who take up a big chunk of cap space. While often it's the QB, it's also often a DT and LT who do so. I don't think anyone had any real arguments about trying to retain Glenn, as he's a solid LT when healthy, and you never hear a peep about his work ethic or anything off the field.

Dareus is difficult, because he's getting big money, wants to play, yet can't seem to get his personal life organized. Someone, somewhere, hasn't given him the right guidance to get him through the plethora of personal issues he's had to deal with, and because of that, he finds himself in the doghouse far too often for anyone's liking.

Glenn's status being dragged out like it has been is frustrating. Oline still remains a top off-season priority, along with WR and QB.
