Btw, at one point in the 1st period, the announcers had a conversation that went something like:

RJ: "The Sabres are 1-2 on the PP with nooOOoo shorties"
Ray: "Yup, no shorties"

You know things aren't going well when making it through two PP's without giving up a SHG becomes noteworthy.
