All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

That was the worst I have ever seen these guys play, which is saying a lot considering just how bad this year has been.
Wha galls me more, were Housley's post game comments. Played well? Was he watching the same game?
At what point do you say, perhaps Housley, who is a very good amateur coach, isn't ready for this level?
It's the same situation the Bills constantly find themselves in. You want to give the coaches a chance to bring in their guys and install their systems, and the players benefit from stable coaching. But things are spiraling out of control, so it's that tough choice between allowing time for stability versus sticking with something that clearly isn't working.
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Things continue to go from bad to worse for the Buffalo Sabres in their first year under coach Phil Housley. They will look for a different result at home on Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals.
Buffalo (4-8-2) has lost three of its past four games and is coming off one of its most disappointing performances of the season. On Saturday, the Sabres fell to the Dallas Stars in a lopsided 5-1 road defeat.
"When I evaluate the game, I think we played well," Housley said. "The score tells you differently, and there's probably going to be a lot of people that disagree with me. But I think we got the start we wanted. There were some bad bounces that occurred."
One of Buffalo's biggest problems in the loss to the Stars was goaltender Robin Lehner, who was pulled midway through the first period after surrendering three goals on seven shots.
"I have to be better," Lehner said. "It's a game of mistakes. I made a mistake there, and together with a bounce and a good goal there, it's 3-0. It's unfortunate.".....

I've waffled, but can't see how we can't trade him.
A top prospect and a late 1st is value. If there's a sign and trade scenario... the haul is significantly more.
The window is 3 -5 years from now.
Hope Botts has successfully communicated that reality to Kim.
So the true goal is to get guys who will all come into their primes around the same age, and maximize the length the window is open for.
I'd still try and resign him because of this Kane is here to stay, I want him around. But it sounds like the haul for him could be larger than anything Kane can do on his own
Btw I'm so sick of Ovechkin getting fancy looking goals against us cuz our D men decide they want to be spectators instead of players. They get intimidated and hesitate just enough for him to get a move off and score. If they played him like they play everyone else he'd have a lot fewer goals against us
