All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Wonder if Eichel is regretting the long term deal yet. Going to be a long time before he's part of a winner.
In the parts of the two games I've watched, Eichel has looked like he's just going through the motions because he got his big pay day. Maybe he's looked better in the other games but from what I've seen he's basically mailed it in, collected his pay day and doesn't care.

I don't see mailing it in. I see a frustrated player trying to do too much. The sabres haven't put enough around him.

That third period of the game vs the Canucks, he didn't even look like he wanted to be on the ice. Lost draw after draw. Tripped over his own skates. Looked slow.
Like I said, I have a small sample size as I'm not a Sabres fan and don't go out of the way to watch them on my own so he may have looked great the other games of the year. Stats wise he does look like he's played better in the games I haven't watched so he just might be taking a night off here and there as many professional athletes do.
Still that's not a good sign when that guy is the face of your franchise and will be for years to come. Him developing bad habits translate down the roster.

I wouldn't worry about it. Yet. He looks flustered. If we see him mail it in for a few games, I'd be concerned.
Ironically, the third period is the only period the sabres looked good
