    Yea no Java anymore.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

    Thumbs down Re: Firefox 57.

    Firefox's trash...

I've stopped using it a long time ago, and will never use it again.

One of the fun parts of the server issues was involving a Java plugin that basically made it a **** storm for me to access the server.

Firefox will always have a special place in my heart for breaking Microsoft's hold of the browser market, and for being the only major browser not under the control of corporate interests. They keep the other major players honest.

I use Chrome, and I have a macbook, so I think that's the best for me.

I've got all major browsers downloaded though...Firefox, Opera and IE, but I just don't feel comfortable with any of them.

I notice that FF 57, like previous versions, keeps media.peerconnect.enabled as true. IP leaks via WebRTC?

I toggle to false. Tor does that by default.

Linux folks might have to fiddle with security.sandbox.content.level.

Hmm...I am wondering why geo.location no longer appears after invoking about:config. This bears investigation.

Something to do with the above? - dunno

    Re: Firefox 57.

I rolled it back and disabled updates to keep using my script blocker. That script blocker is mandatory. Haven't checked yet to see if the dev updated it.

I can't stand anyone telling me what's good for me when I can figure it out myself and know better anyway.
I lost a bet with Pink and all I got was this dumb avatar that I've had awhile anyway.

I agree with you. The problem is, as I have regrettably found out, is that even if you go back to version 56.x, the update to 57.x tossed one's stuff into the "cloud."
