One of the things working against Ohio State is the spousal abuse allegations...whether it should be or not, the possibility of a lot of public focus being put on that if OU gets in is probably part of the conversation.

School: University of Wyoming / Height: Mucho Grande / Stats are for losers
Pros: Josh Allen is one of the best prospects in recent years. His arm strength makes Superman cry like the baby he is. He would be the perfect fit in a place like Buffalo where it has never once stopped snowing or had winds under 30 mph (according to the national media).
Cons: Josh Allen is one of the worst prospects in recent years. If you were unaware, his accuracy is really bad. He also suffers from poor decision making which is reflected in his haircut.
Pro Comparison: Josh Allen is equivalent to playing your drunk friend in Madden. One play, he lofts a screen pass over the running back's head out of bounds. The next play he throws a perfect 50 yard pass into triple coverage with one eye open asking "which team am I".

Another angle going for Oklahoma is Kyler Murray was a #1 pick in baseball and already signed a rookie contract for $4.46 Mil. He's 5-11 and blazing fast.

This could very well be his farewell to football. He is polarizing and a draw.

Should have been Alabama vs.oklahoma and Clemson vs. Georgia

The country couldn’t handle Alabama and Georgia meeting in the final again.

You don't think Notre Dame earned a spot?

I don’t think they are better than Georgia, so no I don’t think they are one of the four best teams. I don’t think they would beat Ohio St. either on a neutral field.
Look who they’ve beaten an above average team in Michigan and way overrated team in Syracuse are their two best wins. I realize they can only beat the teams on their schedule but it turned out those teams were down this year.

I think Oklahoma did enough to grab the #4 slot. The matchup with Kyler Murray vs. the Alabama D would be a fun watch. They avenged their only loss by beating Texas.
I don't think it's SEC bias to watch Oklahoma play and know Alabama will likely have the game be over by the end of the 3rd. Oklahoma can't stop anybody and Murray's biggest threat is his ability to create with his legs and let his cannon get the ball to an open WR. Against, arguably, the best contain defense in the country that's not an ideal matchup. The best comparison matchup you could look at would be what Alabama did to Texas A&M and Kellen Mond. Mond isn't the thrower that Murray is but he's a dynamic runner. Mond went 16 of 33 for 196, 1 TD, 2 INT, 18 rushes, 95 yards and 1 TD. Murray will need to be everything Mond was on the ground and even better through the air for Oklahoma to even keep it close.

I think ND v. Ohio State played 10 times on a neutral field likely splits even 5 and 5. I don't think we're better than Georgia and probably not better than Oklahoma. I think talent wise we're not as good as Clemson but I really like that match-up given what they are good at and what we are good at. We should be able to put up yards against Clemson through the air and if our D is as stout as it has been all year it will get some stops. I'll take any game that puts the pressure on an opposing true freshman QB going into the fourth quarter. I don't think ND ultimately wins, but I think they have a better than decent shot. It will all come down ND protecting against the Clemson front four.

Clemson is going to roll ND and Alabama is gonna roll Oklahoma.

We'll get Clemson vs Alabama and Bama should win by at least 2 scores.

    ho hum.

    O' Ye of Little Faith.

    We will beat Clemson.

Don't get fooled by all this SEC Superiority crap.

    One game at a time.

    Re: Who is #4 ??

It's never " who's better " and never will be. It's who earned the right to be selected by winning the most games, combined with key wins.

Otherwise, it's a beauty contest with Georgia, Ohio St. , Central Florida and it's 25 straight wins... and multiple other teams crying for attention. Screw that. Don't have a bad conference loss or lose 2 games in conference. No one is rewarding that.

2 Oklahoma QB's wins the Heisman back to back. Makes Lincoln Riley look good.
