    It's an ugly day...

Looking out my windows, my car is covered in like 4 inches of snow.

I'm just staying home all day... got a steak defrosted for dinner.

Just trying to learn Unreal Engine 4.20 today. Messing around with it is fun, but there is A LOT to learn... sometimes it seems overwhelming, but then I take a break and come back to it and that seems to be when I make progress. I just re remembered how to rebuild the lighting every time I love an object around in the environment.

I also figured out how to get Code from unreal to go into Microsoft Visual Studio.

I really want to create my own video game as a hobby. This is a great day to make some progress and acquire such knowledge.

Nothing wrong with a day spent gaming on a computer. I wish I had a gaming computer, but my attention doesn't allow me to focus on one thing for too long. I have to switch it up

Not quite for gaming. For trying to learn how to make a video game... damn material nodes are kinda tricky...

    Re: It's an ugly day...

I make slow progress. But I've DEFINITELY made a ton of progress yesterday... the most I've made in a single day by far...

I am kinda struggling to figure out how to add textures and colors to objects in the environment... my first level - where 2 of the main characters are introduced is a bar... I have the walls set up so they look a normal height. The bar and liquor shelf behind it are of a normal height. And the interior of the bar is more the size of a bar now as opposed to like a full sized grocery store or even a walmart/target...

Yeah, my attention span is fairly short too. I often find myself bouncing back and forth between video games, my phone, Netflix, Amazon Prime and my laptop. Nut now I think my laptop is getting most of the attention since I paid for a udemy course on Unreal... actually I paid for 2 of them... one for C++ for use in unreal and one for basic unreal engine use...
