Brian Flores Expected to be Dolphins' Head Coach

    ...per Ian Rapoport.

Can't hire him until Partriots' season is over.

School: University of Wyoming / Height: Mucho Grande / Stats are for losers
Pros: Josh Allen is one of the best prospects in recent years. His arm strength makes Superman cry like the baby he is. He would be the perfect fit in a place like Buffalo where it has never once stopped snowing or had winds under 30 mph (according to the national media).
Cons: Josh Allen is one of the worst prospects in recent years. If you were unaware, his accuracy is really bad. He also suffers from poor decision making which is reflected in his haircut.
Pro Comparison: Josh Allen is equivalent to playing your drunk friend in Madden. One play, he lofts a screen pass over the running back's head out of bounds. The next play he throws a perfect 50 yard pass into triple coverage with one eye open asking "which team am I".

Maybe Flores can be the first out of the Belichick coaching tree not to fail elsewhere in the NFL.

I'm a firm believer that if Mangini had toned down the whole "tough guy" act, he would've been a successful coach.

Rex’s first 2 successful seasons with the Jets were with Mangini’s guys.

Re: Brian Flores Expected to be Dolphins' Head Coach

I'm not sure why anyone would want the Miami job. They have such an unappealing situation. Questionable ownership and front office. A roster lacking talent, but no cap space. A non-franchise QB making franchise QB money ($26.6 mil cap hit). I think they're in for a rough couple years, but they don't seem like a franchise willing to take their lumps now and just go through a major rebuild/overhaul. I just hope they're not bad enough to wind up with Trevor Lawrence in a couple years.

Re: Brian Flores Expected to be Dolphins' Head Coach

Do you think Brian Flores will hire Brian Daboll to be Miami's OC and Ass. HC?

Weren't both Brians in New England at the same time so they know each other very well?

If Brian Flores wants to concentrate on the Defense in Miami, Brian may want someone to deal with Offense that he knows and trusts.

Brian Daboll was THE best TE Coach for Gronk on the New England staff before Brian went from riding Belly-Chick's coattails in New England to Nick Saban's coat tails in Alabama.

Perhaps Brian Flores is just one more fool who believes Brian Dabolls knows and comprehends anything above pee wee football offensive schemes?

What a win-win that would be for the Bills!!!

Miami is like the Ralph Bills. 7-9 wins are good enough and they just keep taking stabs to stay right around there, rather than facing up and rebuilding.

Re: Brian Flores Expected to be Dolphins' Head Coach

Miami apparently plans to tank next year to get a shot at one of the QB in the 2020 draft. Their new GM, Chris Grier, is behind the plan. Next year they will cut salary and plan to rebuild.

They also signed away Marvin Allen, the Bills National Scout, making him Assistant GM. Apparently he is close with Grier.

Re: Brian Flores Expected to be Dolphins' Head Coach

Fins are a hot mess. Tanny is done here. I cannot see him staying on to mentor his replacement. The D was horrid. Flores can only improve them but so much crap is there. Wake is 64 years old. Kiko is a nut case not unlike the brain banged Romanowski. Devante Parker is a first round bust. Might get picked up by someone for a fresh start chance but...

Miami's best RB was 87 years old human freak Frank Gore. They need almost every position upgraded on O. D has X Howard... He's awesome. Then nothin.

Not unlike Buffalo a couple of years ago but worse.

    Meh

The Belichik coaching tree is not exactly blooming with successful stories.

We should all hope however that they hold on to Tanny. Man he sucks.

Thought about it but decided to show some restraint.
