also like, she took the criticism to heart and apologized like it's not as if she dressed up as a racist caricature in college or whatever the fuck the va govenor did that was definitely should-absolutely-step-down racist
I'm one quarter Prussian Jew, asswipe.

You are not some expert on Judaism and I doubt you even practice the faith.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., sparked backlash Sunday evening from members of both parties -- including former first daughter Chelsea Clinton -- after she accused a prominent lobbying group of paying members of Congress to support Israel.

Omar, who became the first Somali-American woman elected to Congress in November, responded to a Twitter post by journalist Glenn Greenwald criticizing House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., for threatening to take action against Omar and another freshman lawmaker, Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., over allegedly anti-Semitic remarks.

Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar Receives Backlash For Anti-Semitic Tweets

    Patti
C'Mon patti, this stinks of desperation.

The final sentence of what you pasted says this..."over allegedly anti-Semitic remarks."

And yet your link says..."Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar Receives Backlash For Anti-Semitic Tweets"

Apparently between the two sentences you decided the qualifier "allegedly" wasn't required, huh?

    Tsk, tsk.

You're trying to have it both ways.

Either your claimed status as one quarter jew is relevant, or its not.

This doesn't answer my question, and as an atheist I don't have to accept anyone's religious self identification at face value.

I've questioned all sorts of people over the years about their religious impulses.

It comes with the territory. Religion and politics can't be separated. Since the invention of faith, religion has been used by the powerful to manipulate the weak.

Why should Judaism be any different?
