Are the Cardinals going to trade Rosen?

The Arizona Cardinals traded up to draft quarterback Josh Rosen 10th overall less than a year ago, but there's an increasing amount of smoke around the idea that Rosen could be on the trading block under new coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Arizona has publicly defended Rosen as its QB of the future, countering buzz about Oklahoma star Kyler Murray going No. 1 overall to the Cardinals in the 2019 draft by calling Rosen "our guy." NFL Network's Rich Eisen reported Tuesday that the Cardinals have told Rosen the same thing.

Former NFL general manager Charley Casserly, also of NFL Network, added to speculation of an Arizona future without Rosen, however, saying later Tuesday that he spoke with one team that "confirmed the Cardinals are shopping Josh Rosen."

Yeah, those rumors really heated up over the weekend. I'm not much of a Rosen fan, but I'd still take my chance on him over Murray.

I heard on the radio that the Cardinals met with Murray.. AND that the Dolphins may be interested too.

Question should be what could they get for the 1st pick? Gotta be teams that want their choice of QB.
    Keep Rosen.

In fact, according to Joel Klatt of Fox Sports 1, three teams are “very interested” in the UCLA product: the Patriots, Giants and Chargers.

Rumor has the return value at a 2nd round pick.

I dunno, if I'm a GM and just traded up into the Top 10 to grab a QB when I'm interviewing for a new head coach one of the first questions I ask is "I invested heavily in this guy can you make the team successful with him?"

Joe Klatt may be broadcasting rumors from an agent to drum up business but there's probably some degree of interest among teams, no doubt.

I was listening to one of the EARLY morning shows on the way to work this morning and they were talking about this very thing (about some basketball player I've never heard of lol). The agent/player/friend of player leaking "info" to the media to drive up the interest.

I'm not particularly a Rosen fan, but along with Allen, he's a good example of how not to put your perceived franchise guy in a well thought out position for success. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it wasn't the Pats who end up making us pay for it at a cost of pennies on the dollar for another 15 years or so.

Is Mr. Pink the one to bring me down ? Is Peterman on an NFL roster in 12/2019 ? What avatar do I choose for Mr. Pink ? Stay tuned, it's hugely !

A Patriots 2nd round pick is the same as a 3rd.

Re: Are the Cardinals going to trade Rosen?

Josh Rosen said he was “really, really angry” at last year’s NFL draft after dropping to No. 10 overall before being selected by the Arizona Cardinals.

Looks like the former UCLA quarterback might feel the same a year later, after the Cardinals used the top overall pick Thursday evening in Nashville to select another QB, Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray.

A glance at Rosen’s Twitter and Instagram feeds shows he is not following the Cardinals. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport and Clayton Holloway reported that Rosen unfollowed his current employer following the Murray pick.

That could mean Rosen is really, really angry after the first round of the draft for the second straight year. Or it might mean that he’s getting ready to relocate — multiple media reports say that Arizona and the Miami Dolphins are close to a deal involving the quarterback.

Perfect. Miami gives up some picks and gets a guy who is going to suck.
