    Bosu Ball

Anyone use or swear by it?

I've stayed over in different Holiday Inn Express' the past two nights. Their workouts rooms are equipped identical, which is of course sparsely, but adequate for a good warm up. One piece of equipment they have is a bosu ball, which basically like a Reebok Step but with a balance element.

Maintaining good balance is important to me especially as I age. This seems to work muscles in the ankles and feet that I haven't worked before with added cardio and stretching benefits. I've used it the last couple of mornings and might pick one up for home.

    Re: Bosu Ball

It’s been a minute but the mma gym I trained at in VA had one. We would stand on it and do slow kicks or put a light dumbbell on the ground, stand on it with one leg, and pick the dumbbell up and put it back down.

I should see if anyone is selling one used

That sounds like a good drill. Dumbells would probably work well with the bosu in general. Flys or curls as you do steps.
