Anyone else have a sports car or classic they drive during the warmer months ( snow country ) or all year round in the warmer part of the country ?

I worked in an engine plant my entire life until retirement. My summer toy is a 2 seat convertible, a 2008 BMW Z4.
3.0L Turbo Straight 6. Mint condition.

At my age, it beats sex.

One of my co-workers has the ‘03 model, same engine I believe. He has kids so he bought it cheap as a 3rd car to drive when he’s alone. But, it’s amazing how many times I’ve had to explain the concept of winter cars vs summer cars to people. Once you get maybe 30 miles south of the NY/PA line, people don’t get it.

Rusted bicycle I found in a field. Has moldy streamers on the handlebars and part of a basket. Stole some tires from a relatively compatible bike someone left unsecured in a locked garage. Works great, just makes a lot of noise. I never actually drive the expensive cars I have. That's crazy.

I'm retired too and I'm also planning to get a summer car as a toy.

Can't right yet, I have no time to enjoy it, but soon.

I flip back and forth between a mid 2000s Mercedes SL 500 or a 2011 E350 coupe.

You can get spotless low mileage versions of each for around 17/18 grand Canadian.

My everyday ride is also a great car. 2010 Honda Civic Sport.
