Albany is on top of the football world

    https://www.timesunion.com/sports/ar...K-14297144.php

Utopia arrived again 20 years later at Times Union Center.

The Albany Empire validated the city's return to the Arena Football League on Sunday night, running over the Philadelphia Soul 45-27 to win ArenaBowl XXXII in front of 12,042 crazed fans and a national TV audience on ESPN2.

The victory came 10 days shy of the 20th anniversary of the Albany Firebirds' AFL championship in the same building.

"It's a legacy," coach Rob Keefe said. "Rings and trophies and banners, they last forever. It's going to be a memory of a lifetime. I can't stop smiling right now. It's an amazing experience. It truly is teamwork at its finest, everyone coming together."

League MVP Tommy Grady threw five touchdown passes, four to Quentin Sims, and the Albany defense forced two turnovers and had two goal-line stands to give the Empire an Arena championship in only their second season.

He's bigger than Josh (6'7" 245 lbs), you don't want to be making fun of him, he'll come over and kick your ass.

Yeah. Tommy Grady. They got him from an Irish bar. Used to be O'Grady. He dropped the "O" so Trump wouldn't think he was an illegal.
