Gore vs McCoy, Murphy vs Yeldon and Foster vs Ray Ray

These are all competitions that no one wants to admit. Right now the only RB that's safe is Singletary and I truly believe McCoy and Gore are battling for a roster spot. Yes we could have a situation where they both stay but judging by how the reps are I think they are having a battle along with Yeldon/Murphy

I think ideally we want Gore, Singletary, Murphy and maybe Perry for STs

Now for Foster... Guys he's not getting first or second team reps right now

    It's
    Brown
    Cole
    Zay
    Roberts
    Ray Ray
    Foster

It's not being reported but we saw it during the game and this is how the scrimmage today was. Andre right now is our 4th WR with Ray Ray sharing the reps. There is a big possibility Foster doesn't make the team
Please excuse my dumb and pointless topics and posts, i more than likely will not be sober for any of them

IMO ideally it's still McCoy, Gore, Yeldon and Singletary.

I think Foster has been in a battle for one of, if not the (depending on how many they keep), last WR spots since free agency anyway.

    Foster way over McCloud.
Yeldon turns the ball over too much for me.
    McCoy trade bait.

Foster is a lock. It's down to 1 or 2 from among McCloud, McKenzie, Phillips and Sills.

I have already started an entire thread that Shady is done as fried chicken, no way we tie up all that money for a 3.2 YPC in a redundant position. Zero chance. Trading him to a needy team for a pick we can use to help us move up next draft, freeing up resources to sign a stud / pay Tre.

Shady would fetch us a late 4th rounder, I’m not sure how we don’t grab that at first blush (eliminate overpaying for no field production).

We aren't keeping 7 WRs. Right now Foster is battling for 5 against McCloud

Foster caught a ball for 14 yards on 4 targets, McKenzie caught two for 61 on 2 targets. Not sure why anyone would think Foster is a lock. Caught 27 last year on 44 targets in 13 games. I mean that's not "sure thing" land.

I definitely hear McCloud's name way more than Foster's out of the coaches and analysts mouths.

Also I think people are missing what Roberts brings to the table.

Zay is our number 2 and Roberts will be our gadget guy\deep threat.

Idk Foster could get us a decent TE. If we packaged him with a 4th I wonder if we could get a ravens TE?

If Roberts is relying on being the deep threat to make the team, he's in trouble.

McKenzie not making the team would be a mistake. He’s a playmaker.

Foster too. Both seem like guys the Pats would pickup and get huge production from.

Yeldin looks to me like he's taking himself out of any competition for a roster spot.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

McKenzie looks like a big play threat, it’ll back up all secondaries & leave room for us to have good gains available.

What has Marcus Murphy done to warrant a roster spot? He's at best a return man bottom of the depth chart RB that we don't need.

Ray Ray and McKenzie both offer the same skills in can return and be depth WRs yet to me McKenzie shows he can produce but just needs to stop fumbling. I can't see Foster being cut because he produced last year and while might not be the best WR on the roster he's not the worst.

It's Shady's last year, why cut him? We're aren't going to find a guy to bring in that's better and we don't need to sign Tre this season as he's in his 3rd season and have him for at least two more if keep him on his rookie deal and take the option.

Your missing what I'm saying. I told you how the offense is lining up. McCloud comes in after Cole. Roberts is the 4th WR on the ones and looks dangerous. McKenzie is rotating with McCloud but primarily playing 3rd team with Foster and Cam. Stills and Duke rotating at 4th on the 3rd team.

Also Murphy is a solid pro and shows a lot of potential when he plays. Gore and McCoy sound cute and all but no way we keep two 30+ yr olds when we obviously love Singletary and want him to play
