Gun culture is the way it is because neither side of the issue want to meet in the middle, they'd rather destroy each other.

Ads like that were made to troll people who are afraid of guns. Makes them wonder in the back of their minds if they really don't deserve their man card.

Any real conversation about the 2nd amendment in todayís culture canít be had without a conversation involving the 1st amendment. Technology has given EVERYONE a voice and an outlet to share whatever ideology or opinion they want others to agree with.

There are intelligent and well-spoken folks on both sides of the argument who hide behind the protections guaranteed by freedom of speech. They can bend the truth, tell half the story, or downright lie to their followers (the sheep).

Hitler was a very charismatic speaker who grabbed the attention of millions. We now see how dangerous that can be, even without Facebook.

To someone brought up in Europe, the extreme gun culture in the US is inexplicable, and somewhat aberrant.

What is equally strange is the refusal to admit that the vast number of guns in the US is linked to gun violence. Saying that is to agree with Mike Pence that all Americans are born as murdering, raping thieves, unlike people in the rest of the world who are obviously born differently.

Funny. As someone brought up in the United States, I feel the same way about the extreme soccer culture and raging public alcoholism in Europe.

When I was in Newcastle....it was football (soccer) that was ALL important. I mean, these people make your average Buffalo Bills fan look downright docile.

I was warned about attending an actual game. Seems like the stadium did not have seats. Public drunkenness was a given. Bathrooms were not used...if you catch my drift. Violence was common. Your life and limb were threatened when you went to a game.

So...yeah....soccer...craziness....and drunkenness are a three headed monster in many parts of Europe.

If they had gun laws as lax as the US, soccer games would probably be a killing field.

How often do football hooligans in Europe shoot up crowds of innocent people?
