Hell of a comeback by Hurts and OU last night.

Gotta wonder how this shakes out with three likely undefeated teams (Ohio St, LSU, and Clemson) and four to five 1 loss teams.
    COMING SOON...

What is 'fair' is on any given Saturday, in any given year, two of the best four teams in the country are most likely playing in the SEC.

If it really does shake out like that and the Tide don't stumble without Tua, Alabama is the clear #4 in the equation.

How? They have zero quality wins.

Alabama schedules Western Carolina late in the year in addition to losing Tua. They will need a TON of help now.

If Georgia beats LSU in Atlanta, they both get in. LSU is very vulnerable on D.

Big push now to get the Utah-Oregon winner involved out of the West.

PAC goes out the window, Utah may be in the conversation for two seconds if they beat Oregon, but that's about it.

Barring any major upsets it's a five team race for four spots now...LSU, Ohio State, Clemson...if LSU beats Georgia, Bama gets in, if the Bulldogs upset the Tigers they'll get the nod. It could be settled much earlier if Alabama loses to Auburn.

Word is they're gonna let him decide his future. And the feeling is he wants to stay.

Michigan beat a good Indiana team. That team... something happened at halftime of the PSU game. They could have won that game and has been just on fire ever since

That would be a massive mistake, imo.

You don’t think Oklahoma is even in the conversation?

I do think the Oregon loss brought Alabama right back in.

They need LSU to beat Georgia. I cannot see the committee elevating others and it look like 2 SEC teams are in again, unless Auburn wins the Iron Bowl. Then it's chaos for #4. And I'm not assuming the Buckeyes winning at Michigan. Not a given until they play the game.

I think Oklahoma that soundly beats Baylor in the Big 12 Championship gets in over Alabama.

    Oklahoma lost to Kansas St.
They won by 1 over Iowa St. when the Cyclones went for 2 and failed
    Big rally after Baylor collapses
    Struggle to beat TCU

I just don't think the committee respects them enough.

Alabama doesn't have a single quality win on its record.

I agree with you but the current rankings stack against them. Seems the committee was trying to embrace the Pac 12 and the possible Oregon-Utah winner but that blew up. Were putting that ahead of Oklahoma. I actually hope you are correct.

Back to Arizona St. upsetting Oregon. Herm Edwards decided to completely rebuild the program ( The school AD was his old agent and best friend. Hired him to rescue a mess of a program and obviously has job security)

32 kids who are either true Freshman or red shirt Freshman. Youngest team around.

They even shocked themselves with a 5-1 start, then came down to earth with 4 straight losses. Told his Freshman QB he was going to turn him loose this game and observe how he handled it. 400 + yards and a stunning win. College football is full of these great stories that the NFL can never match. I now root for Arizona St.

That 1st half of Alabama-Auburn was fantastic to watch. All action.
