    College Football 2019

Miami Hurricanes QB Williams is really bad, or Florida's defense is really good. Or both.

The Mistake Game. 2 teams that played to lose.

LOL at The U. They suck.

Both teams sucked. Both o-lines sucked. Miami qb was horrible outside of one fluke run. Florida qb Franks seems like he’s been there eight years and he is still horrible. The tackling was bad for both teams. The All American cb, Henderson, underwhelmed imo. The kid is athletic and long but he does not like contact or tackling. Two overrated teams. I think Florida gets smacked by Georgia later in the year.
Arizona/Hawaii game. No defense. Game really wasn’t that close as the score. Hawaii dominated outside of turnovers that kept Arizona in it. Sumlin better get his sh** together quickly or he is going to be the first coach fired this season.

I don’t disagree with anything you said, but there is emptying about UGA-Florida that always seems to give Georgia way more trouble then it should.

All opinions aside, I have always liked college football a ton.

The atmosphere, The rivalries, The fantastic traditions..

I get that only a dozen or so schools have a shot at the so called title. Yet I watch most all the bowl games and catch so many games off the DVR to watch during the week.

I'll watch most any game on Saturday. On Sunday, it's strictly the Bills and NFL Redzone. College wins in numbers and meaningful games, IMO.

I loved it madly when I was a kid, lost touch with it for years, have come to love it again. The spirit, the effort, love the smaller conference games I can find, have seriously become a fan of MAC games. That one GMAC Bowl years ago, Levi Brown/Troy and Dan LeFevour/Central Michigan gunning it out was one of the best college games I ever saw. Wow, just realized that was 9 years ago.

    Anyway, same here.
I lost a bet with Pink and all I got was this dumb avatar that I've had awhile anyway.

I hardly even watch the NFL at all. Its boring compared to college. I'll pay attention go the lions as a passing interest and root for the Patriots only because of Brady (Michigan alumni)

So almost all my NFL interest comes from who played at Michigan

Well that didn’t take long. I just watched a qb worse than anything I saw in the Miami/Florida game .
The UCLA qb, Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Holy cripes was he bad.
If that kid can get a scholarship..........

Georgia Tech got destroyed by Clemson, but you could already see improvements under Collins in the way the defense swarmed to the ball and got three turnovers. Offense was the expected disaster.

Last night, Utah and BYU played. Means nothing to most of us but they interviewed a Policeman in Utah working during the game. He said he doubted he would get one call or even see more than 2 cars on the street. Life basically stops while everyone watches that game in the state.

I've seen that narrative dozens of times before in other college rivalry games. That doesn't happen in the NFL. That's just awesome.

Tonight is Colorado-Colorado St. I bet the same thing is going on there.

    Re: College Football 2019

Next week I'm going to Columbus for the Cicnci-Ohio St. game. Prior to the game, they fill up the old basketball arena for a pep rally. You can hear the band marching down the hall full blast and the crowd goes bat*****t crazy. The team and the coach speak to the crowd for a couple minutes. It ends and the team and band then march 3-4 minutes across the quad, surrounded by thousands of fans. It's such a rush and the hair on my arms stands up on end.

ESPN has shown multiple pre-game entrances by home teams that are beyond awesome. If that doesn't get your heart racing, then you should see a Dr. to see if your dead.

It's fantastic and no NFL team can compete with that.

Oregon is out of the playoff discussion before the first weekend of games are finished.

And Oklahoma and ND can join them if they mess around.

How mortifying. The Pac 12 has lost their last 13 against the SEC.

Wyoming is 4-2 vs. the SEC during the same period.
