****. Dolphins now have 3 firsts 2 seconds and I think 3 thirds this year and I think 2-2-2 next year or something stoop I’d like that.

You need players to go with picks... 126 million next year.

Good trade for Miami. That pick could be top-10 with Ben gone.

Top 5 pick for Miami here, so they’ll probably hit on one of their picks but that doesn’t mean they’ll get equal value back out of an assured talent. Tua health willing is a Dolphin, it’s assured.

He’s a safety in the NFL, or slot cb.
And he wasn’t even the best safety from that draft. In other words, he was overdrafted imo.

    So what’s your point ?

You asked me what my point was. You actually want me to explain my point? You can't figure it out? It's pretty simple.

Well if he was going to end up in the AFC at least he went to a team on the downside.

The Steelers are all in on Rudolph. Ben just got an extension so he's going to be around as well. And looking at their team CB/S will be the top pick for them next year. Therefore the trade --- they liked Fitzpatrick.

However, if they really stink this year and Rudolph proves to be a failure, like others said here, that pick can be a top 5 and they would miss a top QB pick 2020. If I were Colbert, I'd NOT take that risk even though Tomlin needs that safety right now.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Big Ben has flirted with retirement before, I wouldn't be totally shocked if this is the thing that finally pushes him over the edge. And I guess they know a lot more about Rudolph than I do, but man that seems like a big gamble to me for a safety/slot corner.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

why would the Steelers do that when that could be a top 5 pick? Thank God it's the fins making all these picks otherwise I'd be really worried what they could be building

Because they are stupid enough to think they are still in it. They are going to regret this trade.

Could be a top 5... Rudolph could be great and it could not be a top 5 pick. Fitzpatrick is a great player. A proven first round pick so they (Steelers) really have a first round selection... he just happens to have been picked 2 years earlier and already playing in gold and black.

I was big on Rudolph and wanted the Bills to draft him.
We will see if I am right again.
Draft a franchise QB that X-Era would be proud to put in his user name for the next 13 years.

Yes that is true, except Fitzpatrick is a safety so they would technically be upgrading since a good cb is higher on the food chain. But hey if they want another safety maybe they will get it right and draft the best safety in next years draft. Again maybe not since they pasted on D James for Fitz.
It’s the Dolphins so they can screw it up.
