    Latest NBC/WSJ Poll: Biden 31%, Warren 25%, Sanders 14%

Indian Summer NBC/WSJ Poll: Biden 31%, Warren 25%, Sanders 14%

My first question is how and why is Joe Biden still leading in the polls?

Whoever can answer that one deserves a Nobel Prize in Political Science.

Is it simply name recognition alone driving Joe's polling numbers?

Second question - Are the polls fixed by the MSM?

Tulsi Gabbard was an Internet rock star, but now she's "out of the picture" with respect to her not being allowed to debate on television do to her "low polling numbers," dictated by the Big Old Media (BOM) "standards."

I think the DNC and the MSM are working together to coordinate their preferred candidate despite what the people think.

Sounds like 2016 all over again!

    Speaking of Bernie....

I wonder why Bernie has fallen from grace according to the latest national polling numbers.

Bernie was Top of The Pops in 2016. His message has not changed since then.

Bernie's doing well in California, and is essentially tied with Biden, but his national polling numbers are far behind Joe and Warren.

    https://emersonpolling.reportablenew...-in-home-state

Why? That doesn't make any sense. His message and delivery are the same they were in '16, so what's going on?

I think all of us here can agree that polling numbers from the MSM are crap.

Is the DNC and their BOM friends election engineering...again?

Looking at those numbers, it's time for Bernie to drop out so that his "progressive" followers can go latch on to Warren. That's the only way Biden doesn't take the nomination. Of course, Warren will never win a national election because independents will never vote for her or her platform but still.

Re: Latest NBC/WSJ Poll: Biden 31%, Warren 25%, Sanders 14%

my question is, why doesn't the OP actually read more info on the actual survey??

Republican pollster Bill McInturff, who conducts the NBC/WSJ poll with his Democratic counterpart Peter Hart. The telephone survey of 506 Democratic primary voters, conducted Sept. 13-16, carries a margin for error of 4.36 percentage points.

That cute little paragraph is from the ORGINAL article, not just what his republican tool website posts ..

This survey is conducted of a 506 telephone survey ...

Biden has three things going for him.

Obviously, he's the most recognizable name.

He is easily the clear choice for moderate and establishment Democrats.

    Barak Obama.

The progressives are currently splitting the group. That will need to end at some point to have a chance.

It's not just name recognition for Biden any more, he's withstanding the attacks and gaffes too. Despite all of the attacks, Sanders, Warren, Harris, Booker and Castro have thrown at him his numbers have remainder strong. Despite the stupid mistakes he makes his numbers have remained strong. He's the currently club house leader because he's the current favorite for the nomination. If it was all just about name recognition then he would have started to fall back by now.

    I don't think so.

If name recognition mattered, Bernie Sanders should not be behind Biden and Warren by double digits.

Do you think the Big Old Media is conspiring with the DNC once again to block Bernie?

Blondie made a great point above...she sounded like me in '16.

The sample size of the poll was comprised of 506 democrats....so small, but the BOM runs with it quicker than you can spell Kavanaugh.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/

Front page on the right hand side you can see the National Average of all polls.

    Biden 28%
    Warren 17.5%
    Sanders 16.4%

After watching Biden's terrible debate performances, I have no idea why he is still leading in the national polls.

Perhaps the only reason why Biden remains the choice of democrats is because he was Obama's VP??

Oh please. Do you always have to be such a clueless know-nothing???

It's really easy to understand why Joe is consistently leading the polls. I'd be wasting my time trying to explain it to you. Your mind is a mush of Trump Chumpiness that is impenetrable to any commons sense of logical thought.

I do not think Joe is really leading in the polls.

I think the Big Old Media is lying to us, again.
