    Week 7 MNF: Patriots (6-0) @ Jets (1-4)

For so many reasons, I want the Jets to pull an upset tonight.

I also hope that these fines don't cause the Jets D to hesitate if they get to Brady...

2 Jets fined for hits on Cowboys QB

As spectators have come to notice in recent years, NFL officials don’t always get the call right on the field. That’s why the league has taken the responsibility of fining players for illegal and unnecessary plays even after the final whistle has blown.

For New York, LB Neville Hewitt and DE Kyle Phillips were fined this week for hits on Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott despite not receiving a flag for either play.
    ....

While these hits weren’t deemed illegal on the field, the league docked both Hewitt and Phillips $21,056 each, per The Dallas Morning News’ Michael Gehlken.

Patriots at Jets: Channel, time, odds, prediction, what to watch for on 'Monday Night Football'

Back in Week 3, the New England Patriots destroyed the New York Jets.

It barely even qualified as a football game, what with practice-squad QB Luke Falk taking the snaps under center for the Jets and completing only 12 of 22 passes for 98 yards and an interception. The Jets only lost 30-14, but their two scores came on a muffed punt and a pick-six thrown by Jarrett Stidham. This game was not close.

Hopefully, this week's edition of "Monday Night Football'' (8:15 p.m., ESPN) will treat football fans to something better. Or more competitive, at least. That would be nice. Anyway, let's break down the matchup...

    Props to Mom!

She said, "Oh yeah... there's football tonight". I replied with, "We're all Jets fans tonight."
She asked, "Who are they playing?" I replied, "The Evil Empire".
She just stared at me for a few moments and then....

"Ohhhhhhhhh!!!!! We ARE Jets fans tonight!"

Most people "brainwash" their kids, I work on my 70 year old mother.

That injury list is, quite literally, half of the Jets roster.

I just can't watch the Pats and Jets for 3 hours.

Discovery Family has Treehouse Masters. In.

I'm actually in the middle of a serial killer book, so I'm going to read that and half watch... unless it gets "interesting".

Serial killers? You sick sick sicky...

    Look up Dean Corll.

Disturbing unique stuff for those with a morbid curiosity. Jack Olsen...one of the best true crime authors...he wrote the book "The Man With the Candy" about Dean Corll and his accomplices. I read it.

    Unbelievable sick ****. Trust me.

The Jets pass rushers need to get their hands up in the air and try and get some batted balls.

This game just further cements the incredulousness of our games against each of them being such close contests.
