I got McDavid vs Canucks 23 Dec. He is so fast it is ridiculous what he does with the puck.

Laine with 3 assists last night to put him only 6 back of all last year. He is playing more defensively, positionally sound and getting in on the forecheck. He is a different player this year. The downside is the goal total isn't there like you would like but shooting half of his career low shooting percentage can't help. Don't think it stays like that forever. It's nice to have the goals but playing 4 vs 5 when he is out there had to stop. Hopefully he can put it all together and he will be dominant. Learning to use that 6'5" body will help too. With how bad the back end is, I feel pretty good about where they are in the standings.

It took Ovy a few seasons to add some defense to his game. Laine looks like a 40 year old with that beard, You forget how young he actually is.

Mightysimi broke the NHL news and notes thread, Lol

Rangers send Lias Anderson to AHL Hartford to get more ice time to work on his game.

Glad to see the organisation is not afraid to let the youth work it out in the minors

Chytil benefited from starting the season in Hartford. In his 9 games he's played so far with the Rangers since his call up.

He has 6 goals 1 assist and 7 points and he's a +5 on a team giving away goals.

The Rangers called up 21 year old and 6'6 forward Tim Gettinger.

Heres a rule I just learned existed. If you pull your goalie in OT and the opposing team scores, you forfeit the one point *** unless the goalie is pulled for a delayed penalty.

The entire internet can't handle Laine passing instead of shooting. The thread was having none of it lol

Rangers are the only team to hold the CAPS to fewer than (2) goals this season, Caps have played (24) games.

Hank is now tied for (5th) in all time wins for NHL goalies with (454) all with the NYR.

Road trip continues for the Jets in Dallas tonight. So far I have been happy to walk into Tampa and Nashville and come out with 4 points. I worry that when Hellebuyck turns into a mere mortal again, their place in the standings will reflect it as he has been playing lights out for the last while here.

He is going to be one of the lowest picks to go in the hall.

The Bruins beat the Habs 8-1 last night in Montreal.

The Bruins play in Ottawa tonight and the Rangers play at home against the Hurricane tonight.

If both teams can take care of business tonight, it sets up nicely for two hot teams playing each other on Friday afternoon in Boston.

Mika's finally back in the lineup after a 12 game absence, Rangers did a good job with him out, Having him back is nice.

Hopefully the Bruins players get hammered on Thanksgiving.
