    The media and the Ravens

You would think they were 11-0

there was a clip and I didnít here who it was but this guy was talking about the Ravens.

he was talking that LJ is unstoppable and they pound a few runs, a dink pass here and there and then Jackson options for the run over and over. You would think this unstoppable force was putting up 50 on everyone.

on defense they rush 5 sometimes seven relentlessly smashing QBs in the mouth...

now as well as Jackson played... and Iím not taking away anything from Harbaugh and what he and his staff have done nor brushing off Roman building an offense around Jacksonís talent but stop.

SF wasnít crushed and there is game film on how to do a good job against the offense.

the Ravenís D isnít the D with Lewis and Reed either...

the guy I heard basically says no one has a chance. I believe differently.

    Btw... I predict Ravens 50-13

(I always predict against Buffalo and ainít gonna change now.)

    Go Bills.

Re: The media and the Ravens

I haven't had time to look it up, but I asked before -- and I don't think anyone knew -- what problems were there in the two loses that the Ravens had; looking at them closer (just the scores and teams) it doesn't seems to be too big a mystery.

WEEK-3, Loss #1 ~ Ravens @ Chiefs -- 28 to 33 (close game against Chiefs, no mystery here?)

WEEK-4, Loss #2 ~ Browns @ Ravens -- 40 to 25 (just a good game by the Browns who have talent, and Browns were just working well together that game? -- maybe combined with mistakes/turnovers by the Ravens?)

It’s time for a stinker of a game by Baltimore.

Uhhh, they won 8 straight with 5 easy wins, and they beat the Patriots, Seahawks and 49ers in that stretch. They scored 30 or more in 6 of those games and 40 or more 3 times. They broke their franchise record for points in a season after just 11 games (and this is a team with 2 Super Bowls in the last 20 years and a **** ton of playoff appearances).

The media does love to hype up the frontrunner, but this time the hype is justified.

They are relevant to the point I was making. They broke their franchise record for points in a season after 11 games. If you said that about, say, the Browns or the Lions, it wouldn't be as impressive because neither team has been good in the modern pass-happy era. Beating the season total for points after just 11 games over two Super Bowl seasons is more impressive than doing it over hapless teams that don't make the playoffs.

Okay, of the recent games, the only shockers were the road win against the Rams but the Rams need ideal conditions which they apparently had last season, and the Texans.... both games 40plus points.

not impressed with the 49 on the Bengals or the 59 on the Dolphins week 1.

    Ravens 54_13

the Super Bowl seasons , weren’t those on the back of the defense and in seasons where the Steelers and Bengals were better?

you only need 14 points when you allow only 7

Re: The media and the Ravens

Everyone is unstoppable until they are stopped. ESPN will exaggerate everything, that's where the money is.

    This year it's Lamar Jackson
Last year it was Patrick Mahomes
2017 it was Sean McVay and his genius offense
2016 it was the unstoppable Falcons offense
    So on
    So forth

    Any given Sunday.

Jackson is the best watch in football.

Of course they are grabbing a seat on the bandwagon.

    **** Baltimore.

I hope our defense destroys their ten digit IQ quarterback. Lamar Jackson is the stupidest human being I've ever heard speak. And I've listened to Donald Trump.

Leslie Frazier will puzzle it out, I'm sure.

Josh Allen, we need you to keep the magic going, buddy!

I was pro draft Lamar, but now that I have listened him, oh Lord!

He is a tremendous player and I'm sure he will have a short bright future, but thanks FO!!

Lamar Jackson seems to have his head on straight and carries himself well, no matter who wants to question his intelligence.

I like him...but not this Sunday.

Can't argue about how he's played thus far in his career.
