Josh Allen should start throwing off his back foot on deep/touch passes

Some QBs had to start being more accurate by not putting their body into throws. Last year even Allen was much better when he threw deep passes without stepping into it. A Rod has made a living out of compensating for his strong arm and throwin deep off his back foot

Think about the NBA. A 3 pt shot is just like a deep pass in the NFL in terms of the ammount of space you are trying to fit the ball in. So many shooters now and in history have intentionally shot a fade aways to help their percentage. I think Allen may be a type of guy who would be better off throwing his lobs off his back foot since he is so gifted

His connection in the Broncos game to Brown in the endzone only happened because of the headwind. The look on Allen's face after the completion was of disbelief.

Also consider the general rule of thumb that a golf ball will travel 10% further at 5000 FT elevation. The University of Wyoming is 7100 ft above sea level. So with the same force, Allen should be under throwing his receivers at the Ralph. So I don't know. I just hope he figures it out.

I don't think learning bad habits is the solution.

No, no he shouldn't. This would be far worse.

I think he should try it from his knees first.

    Arching the ball.

Throws a line drive and sails it a few yards long on most deep passes. Put in the work.

Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino used to do it because they had insanely strong arms. It's not a bad habit. I'm not saying dramatic fadeaway passes, I'm saying quit stepping into the passes so much and maybe lean back like some QBs with strong arms do

I'm thinking throwing into garbage cans would be more effective.

We want him to improve his placement and touch on deep throws, not **** up his mechanics.

    His mechanics are already ****

Look at the first pass to Foster again, he doesn't step into that throw and still sails it way passed him.
