Do the Bills Need a Tall Wide Receiver?

    https-::wgr550.radio.com:articles:opinion:do-the-bills-need-a-tall-wide-receiver

Should adding a large target on the outside be a priority for Buffalo this offseason?

Throughout the first few weeks of the offseason for the Buffalo Bills, you have probably heard a very popular take. What quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills offense needs is a tall weapon on the outside that can go up and make tough catches regardless of the coverage.

A 6-foot-3-plus target with a large catch radius for an often inaccurate signal-caller.

While a lot of the key reasoning makes sense and wide receiver is certainly one of the bigger needs for the organization, just how important is adding a tall receiver?

Yeah, thought about that too... he's a shorter guy, but Henry Ruggs would be interesting. Most mocks have him going after Jeudy and Lamb, but we'll likely have to trade up to the mid-teens to get him. From what I've read, he's got some of the best hands of any wr in this class (and he's a burner)

A tall WR is a TE on most teams.

Need another WR with speed and separation.

a skilled pass-catching TE would be great to have but we've been trying and failing on that front since McKellar.

I really hope Knox is that guy, I got crazy while he was droping passes here and there, but also was making great plays too. I'm no expert, but I think and hope that another offseason practicing together will make wonders for our O, all of them (please remove on this list to Lee Smith!! ). I wish the FO get us a Wr, OL (don't care if it is C, G or T, just get the BPA) and a Rb on the draft.

    The Mexican & too!!

    - Adriano & Emiliano, the next Villa & Zapata. Viva Mexico, cabrones!!! -

neither Knox nor Singletery were made to catch in college. They are both still learning how to be receivers. so I am not surprised they are dropping passes.

What I like the most about them, Singletary and Knox, is that they do not avoid contact, I know is not that good for their health or carrers, but they are not shy as rookies.

Yeah, they need a guy that can muscle a catch anywhere on the field...red zone, sideline, over the middle.

A quarterback that hits guys in stride that are wide open.

Re: Do the Bills Need a Tall Wide Receiver?

We need a better OC, LB's and dominant DE, and a better OL. We don't need WR's unless they fall in our lap. We don't use or dress the ones we have. Daboll will never be the guy. He'll be fired after next season when we're 7-9.

Just watched the highlights on youtube, he is always open in the middle, and wins the contested-disputed balls always!

I think I'm ready to work for Buffalo as a WR scout.
