Josh Norman is available - Will McDermott and Beane Recruit?

Josh Norman is being released by Washington, it will be interesting to see if Buffalo goes after him with the obvious Panther connection. Norman was at his best under McDermott in 2015 as an All-Pro.

He would make a nice pairing across from our own All-Pro.

Is he still the player he once was? 2015
It's been Joe Biden's dream all of his life to be the democrats nominee for President of the United States of America it's just a shame he's not here to enjoy it.

I think he needs a change of scenery and going back into a defense he knows well would probably help him regain some of his old production. As a CB2 he would probably excel.

another guy who thinks he's great, has a big mouth, wants to be paid like an all pro and isn't playing like one anymore. That's all we need to bring that guy in to coach White on why he needs to get out of Buffalo and cash in

I'm sure McDermott will take a look.
Knowing the defense is a huge plus.

That was the problem I was thinking about.
I'm sure McDermott know's all about him.
If we bring him in that'll tell me McDermott feels he could help.
Something tells me we are going to pass on Norman.

The Panthers tagged him and then released him because they didn't want to pay him. They must not have liked him that much. Looked like a smart move too since he never lived up to the contract in DC. I would pass. He's 32 and this team is good at drafting and signing young DBs.

To me, I always see a couple dozen good CB's in most every draft. This is no different.

This tells me all I need to know.

Thanks I didn't know they tagged and then dropped him.

So, Snyder paid top dollar for the biggest name in FA only to get middle of the road performance out of him before eventually making him a cap casualty.

    Gee, who saw that coming?

Washington just needs a total fresh start. Snyder should sell the team for starters, new owner rename the team the Warriors and go from there

I still have a lot of friends in the DC area who are Skins fans and most of them have given up on the team. They still pay attention to what the team does, they'll watch the games if they're around, etc, but they no longer make the effort to be sure they're in front of the TV. They won't go to the games or buy merch. They've basically accepted that it's as good as it's ever going to get as long as Snyder owns the team.

As far as selling, he won't do it because it'll be a public admission that he can't run the team. This is a guy who can't even let the football people that he hired make football decisions without his "input" (read: "I'm signing his check and yours so do what I say").

So yes, I agree with you that it's what should happen. But it won't as long as Captain Ego is at the helm.

No. And Rivera, of all people, let him go. There is that Carolina connection that may get him a try-out with the Bills though.

bills tried to bring in Antonio Brown thinking they had enough locker room great character players who could help fix
Wouldnt be surprised in they still think that way as long as there is value.

CBs have to have speed at agility. How much speed and agility can any 32 year old CB still have?

I think Worley or Bradberry are far more likely candidates to come here if we're talking former Panthers.
