I’ll be there for Poison, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Joan Jett.
Draft a franchise QB that X-Era would be proud to put in his user name for the next 13 years.

Wanted to see Billy Joel but picked GNR at Fenway instead.
Seen Joel the last time he was in Syracuse.

I wish Garth would do New Era.

I saw GnR when they were at New Era a few years ago
Saw Joel last time he was in Buffalo - at the arena with Elton John

GNR was there last year. Had tickets but didn’t feel well that day so didn’t go.

Re: Stones coming back to New Era Field July 6th

A close family friend used to be a vendor at Rich Stadium and hired me to sell T-Shirts at the July 4th, 1978 Stones concert.

It was a fairly pedestrian concert. I like the Stones, but they I would never pay to see them.

Unbelievable that they are still touring. Lots of old farts like me that will pony up to see these geriatric dinosaurs strut on the stage. Nostalgia is a strong pull.

I remember the year the Stones did the Super Bowl half time show. They were terrible. A real embarrassment. Here's hoping they don't suck when they come back to Buffalo for the sake of those that want to relive some of their youth.

My next show is going to be Elton John in Columbus.

I was at Rich in '81 when they played there. Stones were great, Thorogood was amazing, and my extreme dislike for a heavily over-rated no-talent hair band was born.

I helped a buddy sneak a camera and lens into the stadium and have some pretty cool pictures from that concert in a folder somewhere in the basement.

So you don’t like Poison, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Warrant, Skid Row, Van Halen, Scorpions, Twisted Sister, Aerosmith, Europe, Great White, Ozzy Osbourne, Journey, Metallica, Queensr˙che, Billy Idol, Triumph, Winger, White Lion, Guns and Roses?

I don’t think we can be friends.

Wow. That's my hit list of bands and performers I can't stand. I like a few songs from Black Sabbath, so I guess Ozzy's kinda ok.

All of these are ****ty copy cats of Led Zeppelin.

We can still be fiends. I don't expect my friends to have good taste in music.

Led Zeppelin is the best band ever.

Get The Led Out just sold out the Buffalo Ballroom on Valentine’s Day. Excellent tribute band. Have seen them close to 30 times. By the end of this year it will be over 30 times.

Being a kid of the 80’s it’s hard not to like the music you are brought up with. I wouldn’t say any of them were copy cats of Zeppelin. Maybe Whitesnake. But even that is stretching it.

I’m sure the kids of the 90s, 00s, 10s think the same thing.

They will be in Atlanta either the day before or after the Buffalo gig. But I am not
going to spend $95.00 just for general admission to see a bunch of ragged out
skinny used up old stoners get up there and act like a holes. Elton John maybe, Stones NO.

Then you don't want to know what I spent for a pair of tickets
