IMVHO Bernie is as Close to Lock as Anybody Has Ever Been

He's leading in every Super Tuesday state except Minnesota that's Amy K. and Ala. that's Biden believe it or not.

South Carolina is a dead heat IMO Biden's support has cratered.

Super Tuesday will decide it unofficially of course.
It's been Joe Biden's dream all of his life to be the democrats nominee for President of the United States of America it's just a shame he's not here to enjoy it.

Cool, 4 more years of Trump.

Re: IMVHO Bernie is as Close to Lock as Anybody Has Ever Been

There are always choices I see two.

1st do you allow Bernie to win the nomination and see what he can do?

    OR

2nd do you make sure (fix it so) he doesn't get the chance?

    The next part.

What happens if scenario 1 is chosen?

What happens if scenario 2 is the choice?

My advice would be don't block him and see what happens.
If you stop him by means of questionable conduct .... then you'll pay very dearly now and in the future.

Well that's how I see it anybody disagree?

    Here are the FACTS:

    1. Bernie lost in Iowa. He basically tied Buttigieg in NH; they each got 9 delegates from that state.

    2. Only 2 states have voted yet.

    3. 98% of the delegates haven't even been allocated yet.

    But please, continue to pontificate.

The democratic party lost in Iowa.

Sanders won the popular vote. But in the United States, The person with the most votes loses.

    1. Not really a fact really. Bernie won the popular vote in Iowa. He won in New Hampshire too.

Here is an actual fact, I understand that stoned kettle (the little corporal who once saw a document that said classified [the rest of the document said waste] and made him feel special enough to say he was in intel) and the little green footballs you play with will disagree but its still fact, Buttigeig's team designed the app that the Dems used in Iowa and Buttigeig still lost the popular vote. Sure, they have another go at it in Nevada, but I see Buttigeig losing again.

Actual fact 2. Bernie won the popular vote in both regardless of what centrists such as cadet stoned kettle thinks. Here's another actual fact, once astroturfed pseudopopulist Lizzy Warren drops out you are going to see a lot more votes for Bernie.

Actual fact 3. Thank God, it was such a taint on our democracy that the superdelegates were predetermined last time.

Please don't continue to act stupid, nobody is buying it, and all it does it make people lose respect for you.

TJ, a question: How do you win the Democratic primary? The same way you win the election: with a certain number of delegates/electoral votes. NOT by the popular vote. You may like it. Or not. But that is how it works.

For the record: I haven't even officially said who I'm backing yet.

As for "Please don't continue to act stupid": I'd advise you to read the second quote in my signature before you give me more grief. And commit it to memory.

Don't get ahead of Nevada, the latest poll has Warren and Buttigieg hitting the 15 point mark which means a further split of the delegates.

Also the last SC poll has Biden up 8, so not sure I'd say his support is cratering.

Biden leads in North Carolina too by the way.

Which is why I said earlier on that it's WAY too early to crown anyone as the frontrunner.

But...we have to make everything a mini McLaughlin Group debate. *unleashes an exasperated sigh*

I’m going to laugh so hard when people realize that there are still unpledged delegates at play.

I don't think this is anywhere close to being a fact.

It's a DNC Reality, but not a fact.

Turns out that the Seattle Proud Boys DID try to interrupt the Bernie rally in Tacoma, WA last night. And....they failed at it. MISERABLY.

If you want to see the footage, someone posted it to YouTube.

    Bernie a "lock"?!?!!?!?

    No, he's not.

Can hw win the nomination??? Sure. He's following Trump's path. Be the biggest demagogue and promise more stuff that will never happen, and take advantage of a fractured primary and get only a minority of actual votes.

Two big problems for Bernie. #1, he's not getting nearly enough votes.....mid twenties is not a strong candidate. #2, more importantly, the Dems do not have any "winner take all" primary states like the GOP does.

It is almost a sure thing that no candidate will get to the convention with even close to a majority.

Democrats do not want Bernie. He's do better in states that have open primaries. THAT is not a Democratic Party nomination.

I am supporting ANYONE but Bernie for the Dem nomination. IF lightening strikes and he does get the nomination, I will fight like hell to get his to beat Trump. It will be a massively losing cause. Trump will beat Bernie in a landslide.
